Wonderful Weekend

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I did! Saturday I spent the day at the beach with  hubby and kids then hubby and I had a date night. Kids staryed at my parents and we went out to eat at this great restaurant.

It was a beautiful night so we sat outside by the water which is my favorite kind of restaurant. I love sitting outside for dinner.  We had a few drinks before we ate. Then a few more drinks after we ate. :-) It's  amazing how people are sometimes. I went to the bathroom and was only gone for 5 minutes. I come back out and my husband is getting hit on by a girl. Now I know she saw me with him because she was sitting right next to us at the bar.  Did she think he was going to leave with her? I asked him what she said and she apparently was just asking him his name then bartendar chimed in (the bartendar who was serving us drinks all night) and asked if he would "want to help him out with his girl's friend." Apparently, the bartendar liked this girl and wanted someone for her friend.

I was in too good of a mood to let the stupid people bother me. We laughed it off and headed home. We got to sleep till 10 am the next day. We haven't been able to sleep that late since before the kids!

Well, that was basically the highlight of my weekend.

Anyone else in complete shock over the Casey Anthony case? I know Madoff ruined lives but he didn't kill anyone and he's behind bars for life. This nut kills her defenseless 2 year old daughter and is walking away. Is our justice system really that screwed up?
