Totally 80's

I was cleaning out some old boxes this weekend and came across one box with a bunch of my old things from elemantary school and high school.  I had such a good laugh looking at some of this stuff.

The 80's was a very ugly decade. I was young but still sported the big hair which I sprayed with liquid cement. I remember the hairspray we used was call Stiff Stuff. We'd spray our hair really high then one of our friends would blow on it so the hairspray would dry. That was one of the tricks to getting it to stay up. Ugly it was, but I was cool.

One day I'm going to find my 8th grade graduation picture. My hair took up the entire background. Yep, I was cool.  It's a similar picure to this one just not so serious.


So going through the box I found my old beeper. Looks just like this one.

I remember getting it with my boyfriend, at the time, for a penny. There were no cell plans like today so you just paid for every call. Yup, ran the bill up to a whopping $700!!

Then I found my old Cavariccis. I begged my mother to buy them for me. Back then they were almost $100 so I only had one pair.

I decided since I still had this old stuff and I'm still close friends with all my old  friends from back, I'm going to throw an 80s party. I'm going to make everyone come dressed. They'll have to figure out how but they're pretty creative. I think it's going to be hysterical. I can't wait to start planning!!!
